I have not only benefited the organisation and others who use services; being involved has had a very positive effect on me!

Involvement means opportunities for you and your relatives to give opinions and ideas on the service as well as all aspects of the work of the organisation.

Carr-Gomm Scotland is committed to maximising involvement at all levels. We are currently enhancing our work in this area and developing our existing involvement strategy. We have a senior manager who co-ordinates and develops our work in this area, Tricia Burnet.
Each person we support has got their own Personal Involvement Plan, which explores the ways in which they wish to be involved. This feeds into the Service Involvement Plan, setting actions and direction for the service and the organisation.

You might prefer your involvement to be one to one as part of your support. Or you might choose to be involved in a group or other work with the Involvement Manager.

In this section there is information about different ways you can give your views and so influence developments in your service and in Carr-Gomm Scotland. You can find out about becoming a Company Member or a Director.

We also have various Working Groups, where people we support and their relatives can take part in various projects and committees.
