Carr-Gomm Scotland is always actively seeking ways to improve the services that we provide to people. We have two policies that enable people we support, or those close to them, to provide feedback to us and so influence the delivery and development of our services: a Complaints policy and a Suggestions & Compliments policy Suggestions are made in all sorts of formal and informal ways. Everyone can make a suggestion. All staff should be open to suggestions, think how they can improve their work, pass them on and discuss them; although not all suggestions may be acted on. Suggestions may well be discussed at team meetings or with managers. Our Complaints process can be used if something has happened that is not right. We will try to resolve a complaint as best we can, but there are other organisations that can be contacted, including the Care Commission.
