The Carr-Gomm Scotland website was first launched in 2004 this version was launched on 29 August 2008.  Please feel free to contact us to let us know what you think about our site - we value your feedback.

Website Privacy Statement

Our web server tracks requests made in our log files, these can contain any or all of the following types of data:

  • The date and time of connection
  • Identification of the file(s) requested
  • Whether the request was successful
  • The size (in bytes) sent in response
  • The referring page (where the client came from), as supplied by the client browser
  • The software used to access the server, as supplied by the client browser
  • Search terms used
  • Login records and file(s) requested while logged in

Information gathered is used for server system administration, identifying broken links, and for producing usage statistics. Logged information may be kept indefinitely. Log files do not contain any personal information.

All information contained within this website shall be retained, processed and disposed of in line with the Data Protection Act and the Carr-Gomm Scotland Data Protection policy. Carr-Gomm Scotland may share relevant information with authorised third parties (for example the Care Commission and other regulators, Commissioners and statutory partners) when appropriate.
