Someone we support and their support workerCarr-Gomm Scotland supports people to lead their lives and achieve their hopes. This includes supporting people to develop skills, interests and friendships, living in their own homes, with personal care and trying new things whilst keeping safe. Support is also given to assist people to follow treatment programmes and the specific reasons why support is needed that are given in the person's Care Plan.  We do this together with relatives, advocates and other organisations, including specialist health and social work services.

We have the expertise to do this, with our partners, based on our philosophy of being person-centred and providing supported living services. We are not limited to a particular "client group". More information can be found in Who we support.

We have developed the expertise to do this over the years and across the organisation. Some People's stories show this and can be found in Our community.

Details of where our services are can be found in Where we support. Some services have a core contract for particular people and a set way into the service. But these services also support other individuals and we are always open to supporting more people or starting new services.

All our services are registered with and inspected by the Care Commission and meet our contracts with Local Councils.
