GLASGOW- CATHKINVIEW SERVICES.

What kinds of service you can expect : This service is for people who are over the age of 65 who need support to live in their own home. We can help with managing your money, help to maintain your house, support with personal care and keeping well. We will always be honest with you. We will treat you with respect. We will listen to what you want. We will support you in the way we say we will. In return we expect you to tell us if we are making mistakes and we hope we have an open and honest relationship with you.

Housing Issues: We are not landlords but your Social Worker will help you to get a flat at Cathkinview. They will help you to liaise with Housing.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I get the service? You can speak to your Social Worker or a family member, friend or advocate. You can approach us at the project. You can ask your GP or district nurse.

Do I have to pay for the service? Your Social Worker will be able to tell you about this. You may have to pay some money towards the cost of your support.

How do you know we will provide a good service? We choose our workers very carefully and regular checks are done to ensure they are doing their job well. We will ask you and your Social Worker for your views on how good a service we are providing. The Care Commission will inform us if we are getting right and you will be able to read any report that they do. If you are unhappy with our service you are entitled to make a complaint. There is another leaflet which explains how to do this.
