  Criminal Records Check
 

Appointment of successful candidates for posts will be subject to a satisfactory criminal records check.  All candidates should read this further information.

Disclosure Scotland is a bureau within the Scottish Criminal Record Office which provides information on criminal records, and other information provided by the police, by issuing certificates known as Disclosures.

Appointment of successful candidates for all posts within Carr-Gomm Scotland will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure certificate being issued by Disclosure Scotland.

Enhanced Disclosures
In addition to the details included in Standard Disclosures, Enhanced Disclosures may contain non conviction information that a Chief Constable may choose to disclose, which he feels is relevant to the job or voluntary work sought.  This type of Disclosure is available to those who apply for work within the care sector.
